Site Inspection – 5 Star Nambiti Hills

Holidaytime Escapes went on an overnight site inspection to Nambiti Hills last week and were completely pampered and looked after from the second we arrived. It is a big 5 boutique lodge that sleeps 18 people, the suites are magnificent with all the trimmings.

We saw 4 of the big 5 in our three hour game drive with the ever elusive leopard preventing the clean sweep. High Tea and a gourmet picnic by the lake on the game drive were such nice touches and the 4 course dinner was mouth watering.

Another treat was the nearby Cheetah Project where we learned about these majestic animals and the fascinating reasons why they are now endangered. Great cause and quite an experience to be up close with them.

Microsoft Conference – ICC Durban

The Holidaytime Escapes Team worked some serious hours in late October looking after the VIP delegates from the Microsoft Conference in Durban. It all went smoothly – the events that Microsoft put on were top notch with a beach party on night 1 and then a party at Moses Mabhida Stadium on night 2 where Prime Circle performed. We were lucky enough meet Ross and the guys from Prime Circle again – really down to earth. Needless to say the Holidaytime guys earned some good rest after the conference and a few ice cold beers were enjoyed too….

Locnville & Graeme Watkins Project

Holidaytime Escapes were pleased to be involved with the World Flow Boarding Championships in October 2011. We took competitors to Ushaka Marine World and to the swing at Moses Mabhida Stadium which they all thoroughly enjoyed. We also had the pleasure of looking after Locnville & The Graeme Watkins Project who performed at the Wavehouse. They are really good guys and performances were top notch.

Moving on up

We are very pleased and excited about moving into our new offices today, we certainly dont profess to be I.T. geeks but Doug has managed to iron out all teething issues with relative ease – I think he may have inadvertantly created a new role for himself. We are now based at Broadlands Office Park in Umhlanga. It is nothing fancy but a great platform to get the world out of this global recession
